2. Information We Collect

We collect:

A. Personal Information

  • Name, Email Address, Phone Number
  • Business Name & Address
  • Google Business Profile authorization tokens and profile data (see Section 4 below — we never see, collect, or store your Google account password)
  • Payment details (processed securely by Stripe)

B. Location & Usage Data

  • Business location (when required to manage GBP profiles)
  • IP address, browser type, pages visited, and analytics data from visitors to our website and users of our platform

C. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide GBP management and optimization
  • To process secure payments via Stripe
  • To respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • To ensure legal compliance and prevent fraud
  • To send service-related communications (you may opt out)

4. Google Business Profile Data & Google API Services

GBP PowerRank connects to your Google Business Profile using Google’s secure OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. When you connect your profile, you sign in directly with Google and grant GBP PowerRank permission to manage your Business Profile. We never see, collect, or store your Google account password. We receive a limited, revocable access token that you can revoke at any time from your Google Account security settings (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) or by contacting us at support@gbppowerrank.com.

Through this authorization, we access only the following, solely to provide our services:

  • Business Profile listing content — business information, posts, photos, questions and answers, services, and attributes, which we optimize and publish on your behalf
  • Review content — public reviews and ratings already published on your profile, used to monitor your reputation and draft or publish review responses
  • Performance metrics — aggregate interaction statistics reported by Google (such as calls, website clicks, direction requests, and search impressions), used for your reporting dashboards

What we do not do:

  • We do not access your Google Analytics, Google Ads, or any other Google account or service.
  • We do not place any pixel, tag, cookie, script, or other tracking technology on your website.
  • We do not collect, track, or receive data about your customers or your website visitors. Performance metrics we report are aggregate counts provided by Google and contain no personal information about individual consumers.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles or to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Our keyword ranking reports (geo-grid “heatmaps”) are generated by sampling publicly available Google Maps search results and do not use any data from your account or your customers.

GBP PowerRank’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it only with:

  • Trusted service providers who help us operate the Service, including platform infrastructure and hosting providers, payment processing (Stripe), and website analytics for our own websites. These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Authorities when required by law
  • Business successors in case of mergers or acquisitions

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard measures such as SSL encryption, secure hosting, encrypted storage of access tokens, and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing to protect your information. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain user data only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legal requirements. When you cancel your service or revoke your Google authorization, associated access tokens are invalidated. Users may request deletion of their data by contacting us at support@gbppowerrank.com.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@gbppowerrank.com. Depending on where you live (including California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have additional rights to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

9. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies to enhance your experience and analyze traffic on our own websites. You may disable cookies via your browser. Cookies and analytics described in this section apply only to visitors of our websites and users of our platform. We do not deploy cookies or analytics on our customers’ websites or to our customers’ end consumers.

Our site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
